Let's Talk About Sex and Therapy

Friday October 28th 12-1pm

Presented by Lauren Silberman, LCMFT

Therapists work with couples in all stages of a relationship, but often feel intimidated talking about sex. This presentation will review basic concepts in sex therapy, including arousal and desire. It will delve more deeply into sensate focus, a technique often used in sex therapy to increase intimacy and reduce anxiety around sex. After this session, attendees will feel more comfortable incorporating the discussion of sex in their work with couples.
