"When Political Polarization Enters the Family: A Consultation Group for Therapists"

As therapists, we sometimes see couples and families torn apart as they try to navigate political differences. We are faced with many challenges, including how to help the clients focus on their relationships rather than the hot political issues that divide them. We may struggle with self-of-therapist issues, as we try to be open to all the people in the family system. We may also have parallel processes within our own families.
This Consultation Group will give us a chance to air and explore these questions and learn from each other ways to intervene successfully.
Reena Bernards, the group leader, is an LCMFT and an AAMFT-approved supervisor. She is also a moderator and national leader in Braver Angels, an organization dedicated to bridging the political divide.

Group will meet with minimum 4 registrants and maximum 8 registrants. If cancelled, you will receive a credit for future events with option to register for next consultation group.
Refunds will not be provided to individual cancellations less than 48 hours from the event.
